The Fivefold Oaths – Our Heroes
Before they were legends, they were just five sellswords and spell-slingers trying to make rent on their next inn room. Bound not by blood, but by five oaths—one each, shouted over a campfire, half-drunk and wholly sincere—they became known across the realms as The Fivefold Oaths. Some say the name refers to their sacred promises. Others say it’s just how many times they swore in a single sentence. Either way, the name stuck… and so did their reputation.
After saving the world, these heroes have established businesses that now form the cornerstone of the magical economy:

Background: An elven bard who uses his charisma and merchant skills to run a network of trading caravans.

The Aethernet Assembly
After establishing their businesses, the heroes sought help from the arcane masters of the floating city of Nimbuspire. The Aethernet Assembly—a group of specialized wizards—now serves as advisors to the heroes’ ventures.

Quirk: Can see “threads of trust” between people and systems. Wears a cloak of login tokens.

The Nubimancy Project
The name “nubimancy” originated from a speech challenge Rini’s tusks gave her trying to say “The Aethernet Assembly” too many times. This charming mispronunciation has become the official name for the project to help these heroes build and manage their magical ventures.
Archmagister Patch Stackwell has recruited a cadre of apprentices and journeymen mages to develop new forms of magic that blend traditional arcane arts with innovative practices. These Nubimancers now work with the heroes to solve the complex challenges of running their magical businesses.
